Freight charges are based on the greater of the actual gross weight or the volumetric (dimensional) weight of your cargo. We use industry-standard formulas to calculate volumetric weight. We reserve the right to re-weigh and re-measure any cargo.
Volumetric weight is a calculation that reflects the density of your package. It is typically calculated using the formula: Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / Divisor Factor. The Divisor Factor varies depending on the mode of transport. We will inform you of the applicable method when you request a quotation.
